Individuals who will be 12 or older before August 31, 2025, or who will be playing 2nd year Bronco are encouraged to become an ECYB Youth Umpire. It is not necessary to be an ECYB member. but each umpire under legal age must enter under the profile of a parent or guardian. We welcome and encourage players from other leagues and communities. This is an excellent opportunity for a first job opportunity and a future reference resource. There is no registration fee other than a $3 transaction fee to be paid with credit or debit card.

Eric Nakagawa of Professional Officiating, along with Mark Beller, have agreed to return as our trainers and consultants. Professional Officiating is one of the largest umpire organizations in Northern California and has an active roster of over 100 members that provide umpires to high school and college programs in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Please reserve February 9th for a mandatory meeting of all umpires. A clinic will be held from 9:00 - 12:00 at Castro Park for umpires, years 1 through 3. We will serve BBQ at 12:00 for ALL UMPIRES with a brief mandatory meeting following to discuss new rules and updates and to disburse equipment, time permitting. Additional meetings will be held on February 13rh and 26th at 7:30 PM tentatively at Castro Clubhouse.

Parents: We need your support. Volunteers are required who are willing to help with distribution and return of uniforms and equipment on and off the field during the season.
