ECYB Annual Meeting 10/15/24

Hello, please attend ECYB’s annual meeting on Tuesday, October 15 at 7:30pm at Juku at 7019 Stockton Ave. We are also planning to add a Zoom option.

The annual meeting is an opportunity to connect with other families in ECYB, interact with the Board and learn about opportunities to volunteer to make the league run! We ask everyone to please give of your time to help ensure a great baseball experience for our kids. If you can’t make the annual meeting, but can step in to fill an important volunteer role, please contact Erik Zalkin at [email protected].

Board members are elected to two-year terms. The official candidates currently on the nominations slate are: (seeking re-election) Erik Zalkin and Paul Lynch. Others interested in joining the board can submit their interest to board secretary Brady Reddall, or they may be nominated through the write-in process or from the floor at the annual membership meeting. All candidates must submit written short statements that will appear on the ballot, which will be issued later in September.

Candidates are elected by a majority vote of participating families. Board officers (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Archivist, and Secretary) are elected by the board of directors. The board will meet immediately after the membership meeting to elect officers and conduct any other necessary business.
The new season is right around the corner, and we have a lot of work to do. Please give of your time and talents to help ECYB be successful!
