• Teams should meet at 9:30 am on the Eureka side of El Cerrito High School to pick up banners and line up for the parade.  By then, your team uniform coordinator will have distributed your uniforms. 
• ECYB, in conjunction with ECHS Baseball, is giving back to our community through a Canned Food Drive.  Please bring a can (or a couple of cans) of food to the starting point of the parade at El Cerrito High School the morning of March 7.  Donation bins will be at the corner of Ashbury and Eureka.  ECHS Baseball players will be at Opening Day collecting the canned food and will deliver it to a local food bank.
• We will walk all together up Ashbury Avenue, turning right onto Moeser and then into Cerrito Vista Park.
• Every team is also scheduled to take individual and team photos Saturday morning. Please consult with your team photo coordinators, who have the schedule and photo order forms. It is important that each team arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled photo time in order to keep the schedule moving on time.
• There will be a barbeque lunch as well. Players and coaches will receive meal tickets Saturday morning, and the tickets will be available for purchase for families and friends.Weather permitting, there are also games scheduled this weekend (schedule TBA)
• So, come march, eat, have photos taken, and enjoy a day of baseball!

In case of inclement weather:

     The past few years, it has rained on Opening Day, so we have developed an Indoor Plan.

     If the rain is light, we will proceed with the parade and photos as scheduled (games will be decided based on field conditions).

     However, if the rain is heavy enough, we will adjust our plan. The parade would be cancelled, but the photos would be moved to an indoor location to be named. We would adjust the schedule, so please, look for an email from the league with an update. Either way, we are all excited to start the season, and we can't wait to see you all out on the fields.
